We’ve teamed up with Malaysian artist and winner of the Custom Culture contest in APAC, Kide Baharudin, to deliver an original take on Vans culture and Off The Wall spirit. Kide’s illustrations depict a deep exploration into the relationship between human characters, their local culture, and history. In the Kide Authentic SF, Kide’s expressive talent is brought to life through a richly colorful print showcasing the lively coastal villages of his home country. The Authentic SF also features sturdy canvas uppers with a collapsible heel, molded UltraCush sockliners for upgraded cushioning, Vulc Lite construction, and classic rubber waffle outsoles with single-wrap foxing tape for lightweight comfort. It is made with water-based inks and glues.
